We warmly welcome you to our very first event.
ASAP is a newly founded association that aims to work towards more solidarity and against discrimination in psychotherapy.
Like most things, psychotherapy reflects social realities and is not a space free from these structures. Based on our own experiences and those of many others, we aim to work towards political awareness within the field, moving away from an overly individualistic view of mental health issues.
We demand more awareness and education on racism, sexism, queer realities, classism, ableism and other -isms: starting a conversation on who is represented in this field and who is left out of the room.
The opening party will be both a celebration and an opportunity – a space to meet each ohter, connect, and begin this important conversation.
